Standing on the beach, feet nestled in the still-warm surface of the sand, you are bathed in the glow of the Boardwalk Resort’s electric lights which shimmer in the waves gently lapping at the shore. In the distance, you hear an outdoor movie being presented to Beach Club Resort guests and anyone else who happens upon this frequent Disney Resort treat. You watch guests being ferried to and from Epcot’s World Showcase entrance and note the energy in the air. Not only is it a Friday night during Epcot’s Food & Wine Festival, Illuminations is entering its final week of showing, which triggers in you a hint anxious nostalgia. Should you join the crowds who have gathered around World Showcase Lagoon or should you continue to enjoy the relative solitaire of this beach. You decide to compromise and to enjoy Illuminations from a new vantage point.
