Today I bring you to one of my favorite spots in the Hub. It’s not easily defined, but I would describe it as the space between the Hub and the Crystal Palace — the beautiful Victorian greenhouse that you can see in the distance. Also in the distance is the bridge that connects the Crystal Palace and Main Street area to the paths leading to Adventureland, Frontierland, and Liberty Square. According to The Imagineering Field Guide to the Magic Kingdom (2005), the design for the Crystal Palace was influenced by the San Francisco Conservatory of Flowers, England’s Kew Gardens and the Crystal Palace in New York.

Join me for just a few minutes as we pause to take in the view, enjoy the ambient music, and hear the excited chatter of guests deciding where to go next. Just beyond the two minute mark, you can hear a woman exclaiming to her family, “What a Great Day!” I hope this short video helps to make your day a little better and to bring you a little closer to our shared happy place.
