One of the original Walt Disney World Resorts, the Polynesian Village is one of my favorite resorts to visit and explore. And few times are better to be here than during a beautiful early morning, just as the day begins to unfold. Today we’ll explore the waterfront areas of this nostalgic property. We’ll visit spots along the beach and marina, and we’ll pause at each to take in the magical sights and sounds. We finish our tour on the shores of the Seven Seas Lagoon, just steps away from Luau Cove, where we can also see the Grand Floridian Resort and its Wedding Pavilion, Cinderella’s Castle, Disney’s Contemporary Resort, and the Tuvalu Longhouse. Water laps the rocks, practically at your feet, monorails pass in the distance, and ferries shuttle guests to and from the Magic Kingdom and the other resorts.
